We took Lauren to her first MLS game last night, and what a game it was! It was a charity match between FC Dallas and the LA Galaxy, and we got to see my favorite player-- Landon Donovan (whose actual home jersey I am wearing). Guess who else made his Dallas debut at last night's game? That's right: the one and only David Beckham. I've never seen the stadium packed out for a soccer game before, and have never seen so many camera flashes in my life. He's hot on TV and in magazines, and yes, he's quite the eye-candy in person...especially from 100 feet away.Lauren was focused and intense. Good thing since she only has two years until she will start playing...

One can only wonder if Posh and The TomKat were in attendance? I failed to look around; my eyes were pretty much glued to the field.

Totally fun to see someone like David Beckham. He seems to transcend soccer for some reason. The other guy I had never even heard of. Clearly, people from Indiana are soccer challenged. It'll take another 20 or so years to hit here! LOL

Wow! I don't even like soccer but I know who David Beckham is! Not so sure about his wife though. She seems so "posed" all the time. So neat that you got to go!!!!!

David Beckham, huh? Isn't he that metrosexual model dude who plays soccer some times and did the commercial with Reggie Bush where he threw a football and Reggie had to ask him honestly, "are you sure you're right handed?" That guy?
