For those of you unfamiliar with mathematics signage, the above title means quite simply that my PC was much better than this new Mac computer when it comes to loading and managing photos and photo folders. No, Mac can't even call them "folders", but must give them names like "events" -- annoying. You seriously can't just plug in the ole camera, download photos, and click 'n drag them to various folders. Noooooo. If anyone out there -- anyone -- knows how to use iPhoto and would be willing to walk me through it, please email me. If you know me and know my phone number, please call as I have new and precious pictures of my kiddos I'd love to post in my blog!
Since I can't do that right now, however, I can go ahead and tell you that in the last week we have sold our house and Greg got a new job. This house closes in 30 days, which means that we have approximately 2-3 days to choose a house and buy it so that we can close around the same time and have somewhere to live when the new folks show up here with their belongings! It's a good problem to have, and we are sifting through several options that we're excited about, so here's to hoping we find "the one" at some point this weekend!

That was fast! Good luck on the house hunting! Can't wait to see you soon. xoxo
Congrats on selling your house...that's great! We have iPhoto...I'm no expert, but maybe we could give you a few pointers. We just switched over to the newer version of iPhoto and I'm learning this whole "event" thing too. =) We'll have to talk. E-mail with questions if you'd like. Can't wait to hear about the new house!
I want details on the job and new house (when you find it)... exciting times for y'all!
So exciting! You really did sell your house fast! I can't wait to see which house you pick! Post pictures when you do please!!
By the way, i love iPhoto. I use the events as folders. I just load my photos and then drag the whole event into another event if I want them combined. Does that make sense?
Wow! I'm a PC girl. Had a Mac a few years back and never could work it right. Congrats on the house hunting and Gregs new job. Can't wait to see the photos!
Wow! That was fast! Congrats to Greg on the new job! Can't wait to hear about the new house soon too.
Congrats on the sale of your home! The hard part's over! (at least the part you have no control over)
Can't wait to see more kiddo pics!
Wow! Congrats on the house selling and Greg's job! Good luck with house hunting!
It actually means that the PC is "greater than" Mac (Greater Than Less Than Level ONE!), but I guess you can translate it that way.
Have you gotten a house yet??
I know a Mac can be frustrating at first... but soon, YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!
Wow! That was fast! We had the same thing happen last year. We actually wound up having to stay with my in-laws for a few weeks as the people in our current house were not leaving one second early. Hope you found something you love!
