Two Weeks!

I can't believe Chase is already 2 weeks old! In no time at all he'll be 2 months, then 2 years, then I'll be walking him to kindergarten, giving him advice about girls, and helping him shop for dorm room essentials!

Okay, I must slow down. Or rather, HE must slow down! He's already almost 8lbs, he slept for 6 hours straight last night, and I may be crazy but I think I heard him say "mama." Sue me for getting carried away; he's most likely my very last infant ever, so I'm relishing every minute of this stage. Yes, I've been caught staring at him for hours, and I've been known to pull him in bed with me and sleep with him after the middle of the night feeding time. Bite me, Baby Wise!

For those of you who know my younger sister, Rachel, I will tell you that Chase looks exactly like her baby pictures in this photo below (and also resembles her son, Judah, with the fabulously wide eyes and little chin). Love him, love him, love him!

He is so so sweet! What a precious little picture. Enjoy every second with him. I'm so excited to have another newborn to snuggle with. Jackson just won't sit still anymore! =)

yes, he is a doll baby. I want to snuggle him right now...why do you live so far away?? Seriously kiss his sweet head for me.

I have a love-hate relationship with Baby Wise. Love that it got my daughter sleeping through the night at 3 weeks old but hate that she would only sleep in her bed, by herself - NO EXCEPTIONS. No rocking, no snuggling...I didn't do it with any of my other kids:) I'll trade tired for snuggling any day of the week!

Awww he is precious! Nothing wrong with spending extra mama time with him. And definitely nothing silly or crazy about wanting him to slow down!

He is the most beautiful baby EVER.

What? He looks like me, you say? Big surprise.

I love what you wrote. You've got me hankering for baby numero dos.

Awe Jackie! He's beautiful!!

That is exactly how I felt when Mathias was born-in fact, it's still how I feel about him...must be that "last child" thing. Everything he does just amazes me! I'm SO glad I stayed home for him during his first year-wouldn't trade it for anything.

Congrats and God bless!
