Big Bang Theory

Always wanting the cute kid from the BabyGap ads with long, wavy, blonde hair, it was difficult for my husband and I to make the decision to get Noah's hair cut--for the first time. I'll admit my decision was heavily influenced by the fact that I wanted to decorate the "first haircut" page of the baby book. However, the deciding factor was that my 10 month old was brushing his bangs from his eyes regularly; I guess the cute long-haired kids have achieved this look in a controlled way to assure they don't end up looking like cousin It.

Before. Note the reverse mullet that Mimsies constantly reminded me of.

During. Unsure of the whole process, I had to bribe him with treats.

During. The Baby Faux-Hawk.

After. Mullet, No More! A successful visit to SnipIts and my son can see again!

So cute! Do you have fake nails in this picture?! What happened?

What a great picture at the end. I have been having the same problem with my little guy. It took him about 9 months to get hair, so I am reluctant to cut it. It is flipping out by his ears and kinda looks like a surfer right now. So, I am going to do this as long as I can. He won't let me in a couple years.

I love that picture of him sitting in the barber chair all mature and grown up... with a pacifier.

I want to eat those cheeks.

Rachel, did you hack into my account and post a comment under my name? I totally didn't write the last one from "Jackie Sue." Strange.

Sasha--these pictures were taken last week, before I removed the acrylics to grow out my own nails. I'm not cheating...

Trisha, I'm so jealous your little one has curls around his ears! Noah's hair doesn't grow on the sides. :(

Love the faux hawk! Also regarding the nail biting, let me know how you conquer that one. I pick at my cuticles and my 4 year old is already a nail biter. We got it from my dad. I could've been switched at birth and would still have that problem--it is in the genes.
