Fabulous Fall Weather

I got an email from my good friend in Colorado today in which she showed a great picture of what she woke up to yesterday. Ahhh, to be able to wear a sweater at the end of October.

As for those of us down in Texas? Well, it's supposed to rain today. It is currently 87 degrees, sunny, and there's not a cloud in the sky. I took a picture, but it's having trouble downloading so... Just imagine what a beautiful day in May should look like, and that's what we have here today. Great for May, a little frustrating for OCTOBER! I have 3 pumpkins on my porch and I'm afraid they're going to bake themselves.

Snow is October is a MUST for Colorado. There is always 1 good snow storm that hits prior to Halloween. Funny thing is, tomorrow it will be almost 60 degrees and the snow will be gone:)

Gotta love Colorado.

Loved the story about the yellow bunny! Will totally put it into perspective for my husband:)

My sister said the exact same thing about her pumpkins! And I am banned from mention the temp up here unless it is over 70, like todays fluke.

I would love to see some weather in the 80's... except for today, it has been pretty chilly here. When are you guys coming back for a visit??

p.s. Glad you didn't find any lumps!! :)

Heeeeeeey, there's an idea. If you cut open the pumpkin and dumped in all the necessary spices and sat it in the 87 degree sun for the day do you think it would make pie filling? Hm?

I hear ya. It is the same here in FL, weather-wise. I miss cool sweater weather. And snow. I miss snow.

Gotta love the Midwest, I have been wearing turtleneck sweaters for two weeks now. Cloudy, 48 degrees and windy. Ahhh, fall.

But a couple weeks of this and I will be wishing for some sun and 80 degrees, how about a swap?

I love fall in the Midwest - it's so pretty and the weather is perfect. Plus someone, somewhere, is always burning leaves. So the smell outside pretty much rocks. It's been rainy the last couple of days, but that doesn't bother me. Then again, I am one of those masochistic, meloncholy people who loves cold and gloomy weather.
