Two Things of Note

Yes, two noteworthy, or rather blogworthy things happened recently.

1) Noah started walking! He took about 8 steps at the end of last week, but didn't do it again until yesterday when he took about 5 more. Today he walked all over and with much more confidence. I'll ask you to excuse my hideous double-chin in this one.

Mostly though, he just likes to be pulled around the house with his huge body stuffed into a toy wagon. Rachel, you can officially be jealous of his huge thigh-rolls I get to grab everyday.

And #2) I FINALLY got a haircut after six months of wearing ponytails.

How did we celebrate these wonderful occurances? Photo-ops and cuddling, of course! (SO posed.)

The wagon looks like the way to travel... who can blame him?? Drunken toddler walking is the best! And your hair looks fabulous :)

love love the hair! the color is great, too... I can't believe our kids are so freakin' old?!?! walking?! I feel like it wasn't that long ago I got the phone call that you had the baby, and I got insanely over excited. =)

I cannot handle it. The picture of Noah in the wagon is my favorite. Forget Runaround Sue - we've got Runaround Noah in the hiz-ouse.

Love the hair. Did you get it colored too?

You are both adorb!

p.s. What are you touching in that first picture?

Noah looks so precious walking all by himself. I can't wait (but I really can) until Sasha is walking. Your hair looks really good. I also am so tired of my long ratty ponytail and of finding long hairs all over the house. UGH!

Love the hair! Love the wagon!

Most of all, I love those chubby baby legs!!!! Chubby babies are the best:)

Congrats on him walking! Peanut is almost 14 mos old and well, she is just lazy:) One of these days I'm sure she'll surprise me and just walk into the kitchen...

My boy is getting leaner everyday and the chubby thighs are disappearing. I remember being so sad when my daughters chubby thighs were gone too. It's right up there with cute dimply bums.

Your haircut is cute! I'm going for a much needed highlight before my baby comes b/c I know it'll be eons before I get the chance again! I laughed out loud when I read your sister's comment and then looked back at the first picture...ahhh, sisters! It was totally something my sister would've noticed and pointed out too!

Your little guy is de-lish. My not-so-little-anymore son was a big squishy ball like that too once upon a time. Now he's long and gangly and his head smells like stinky boy sweat. Enjoy the butterball phase while it lasts.

The hair is cuteness too.

Yum! I could eat him in one bite. Just bounce him on my knee straight into my mouth. He is a highly edible morsel.

BTW, Rachel's question made me laugh out loud.
