You've read in previous posts about my highschool group, the Beautifuls. Well, we all met up before each event so we could go together. We had a pact entitled "No Beautiful Left Behind" which basically meant that if any one of us was left alone at any of the homecoming or reunion events, the others would have to leave whomever they were with to come to the aid of said lonely Beautiful. Pretty much a failsafe so no one was left to feel like a loser. Thankfully, we didn't have to enact the plan at all because we had a great time talking to our old friends, and, um, people we never had a conversation with in 4 years of highschool. Here are the Beautifuls, then and now:

Finally, I tried to upload a photo of our class' "Favorites and Least Favorites" list, but with no luck (glare on the picture). In any case, here are some of the ones that best highlight the overall coolness level of my graduating class:
Favorite TV Show: Party of Five (embarrassed to say I was addicted)
Least Favorite Show: California Dreams (watched it every Saturday morning)
Favorite Male Vocalist: Chris Isaac (don't know any of his songs)
Least Favorite Male Vocalist: Michael Bolton (I know all the words to "When a Man Loves a Woman")
Favorite Clothing Store: Old Navy
Least Favorite Store: County Seat (what? I have no idea what this is)
Favorite Restaurant: TFI Friday's (totally the cool place to go back then)
Least Favorite Restaurant: Pancho's (Have to agree; they serve Monday's tacos on Friday)
So that's about it. We were nerds. I, apparently, was a bigger nerd. But at least now I have a hot husband and gorgeous son to show off. :)

Love the list. I loved Party of 5 too. And 90210. I still miss those shows because I am a geek.
And holy cow. I haven't thought about County Seat in like, a decade. I used to love that store.
Who could forget California Dreams?
We all thought we were so cool, didn't we?
So after you put your pregnant picture up for Karen's Wild & Wacky Show of Circus Bellies, we need to have a round of Who Had the Biggest Hair! I would totally win:)
Apparently Party of 5 was still big two years later when I graduated. I hardly ever watched it.
Oddly? You look older in your high school photo than you do in your recent one. Maybe it's just that we all curled our hair and dressed like our moms?
County Seat was that store that had all flannel shirts and tapered jeans long beyond when it was considered cool to own such items. And when was Chris Isaac EVER cool?
County Seat and California Dreams?!?!?! wow... I completely forgot about those two. Hey, I happened to have bought an extremely attractive light blue sweater with those weird Indian-like patterns on it from County Seat. It was a treasure.
I was COMPLETELY addicted to Party of Five. I was obsessed with Bailey and Sarah being together, and I cried when they broke up because Bailey was an alcoholc.
Wow. I can't believe I even remember their names. Whatever happened to Neve Campbell?!?! Jeez. She got on my everloving nerves.
Oh yeah! The indian pattern sweaters and button up shirts! I think I had a few high waisted tapered leg jeans from there also. Pegged at the ankle, of course.
Um...you still look the same to me...except thinner and better. Isn't it funny how we all think we're at out peak at 18, but yet most women i've known look far better in their mid to late twenties!
