Crappy Halloween! Poopy Birthday!!

Oh my word, what a crazy week for me. And what a crazy post this will be! Here goes:

Tuesday night: Happy Halloween! Got Noah all dressed up for his first Trick-or-treating (actually, just planning to take photos and hand out candy with him dressed up).

Aslan, the Mighty Lion of God. :)

We walked around to a few neighbor's houses and had our picture taken (poor Greg was stuck for an hour in traffic trying to get home).

Noah was definitely the fiercest Lion around. Until we got back to our house, I set him down, and he promptly puked all over the front porch, with innocent trick-or-treaters walking by! I took him inside, where he puked again, & this time little splashes of the puke got into my bowl of candy and on a few wrappers. I took him to the sink. Yep, puked again, and got most of it in his mane and down his chest... It contained chunks...

Run for your lives! One wrong move and he'll anoint you with regurgitated strawberry yogurt! I called his daycare provider who said two other kids had been sent home last week with a stomach virus. Sweet.

Wednesday: I was off, stayed home with him, and pampered his little tummy and butt.

Thursday: NOAH'S FIRST BIRTHDAY!!! I baked cupcakes for his daycare. He was feeling great and hadn't puked in 24 hours. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NOAH!

4pm I got a call at work. He'd been vomiting for several hours so I picked him up, brought him home, cleaned poop off the RUG that ran down his leg and was being licked up by my dog before I noticed, and waited for reinforcements to get home. About 6:30pm Greg walks in and says, "Um, I don't feel so good." The rest of the evening was me dealing with the sounds of stomach virus season: Gurgling, vomiting, be creative...

Today things are fairly back to normal. Greg's at work. It's my day off and Noah is napping. I'm blogging. And thus far I don't hear any gurgling coming from my own stomach. At least not yet...

Well, Noah sure doesn't look sick in those pictures - He looks so incredibly cute and happy!
I hope you are gurgle-free all weekend!!!

That is the cutest lion I have ever seen. He should have his own show on Animal Planet. Sorry to hear about the tummy virus. We've already had it here and don't want it again. Gotta love those poop eating dogs. LOL

Yikes! What a bummer. It is so hard to watch your kiddo be sick.(I imagine it is hard to watch your dog lick up the sickness too). At least you got some good pics of how cute he is as a lion! Hope that you stay well.

That is by far the cutest lion I have ever seen. And... I hate nothing more than puke. I don't care who's it is.. I hate it. It is not any sweeter just because it is coming out of one of your children. Puke is puke!! Sorry for you. I really hope you don't get it. Again.. I really hate puke!! I am also one of those people that if I hear of anyone else puking.. I will puke. I will stop reading your blog if I get the stomach virus today!! :) My girlfriend up here in cincy is loving your blog.. your too too funny. Tell Greg real men don't puke!!

How many times can I write "puke" in one comment?

What a cutie! Seriously, gotta love the cheeks. Sorry to hear about the sickness in the household, at least it wasn't in your mouth.

I guess that's what you get for dressing your child up like God on Halloween. Oh the sacrilege!

He IS super cute in those first few pictures, thought the picture of the regurgitated strawberry yogurt? Not quite so much. Hope both daddy and baby are all better and mommy stays puke-free.

There is just nothing worse then watching helplessly as your little guy pukes and pukes and pukes...

Have to admit I about fell off my chair reading about the poop thing. And then I have to wonder why I let dogs lick my kids hands....or worse, their faces...yuck!

I hope you stay healthy and gurgle-free! But....keep the dog nearby just in case:)

From your brother:

He is the only bebe I've ever met that smiles immediately after throwing up. I'll bet he laughs after he farts too. 100% man.
